The location was a small showroom and warehouse in a rural area that connected Savage and Shakopee. Whether foresight or simply an intrepid business sense, this location proved to suit this thriving young organization. The Savage location grew, providing a growing area with superior service products.

Savage's mission was evident in all that they did. Strong warrantees, expert installers and a well educated sales staff facilitated growth in facilities and growth to more locations. Soon, Thoroughbred would open in Austin, then Waconia, then Farmington and finally Deerwood.

After some renovation to the one time small tractor implement, the Deerwood location was ready to open its doors. Thoroughbred Carpet of Deerwood hit the ground running in April of 2000. As with all of their locations, Deerwood applied the ideals and attention to detail that helped propel each to success. Great service, great warrantees, great products, the finest installers and a sales staff that works daily to keep a leg up on its competition.
